Together with the butter cookies, this is the oldest recipe in La Luarquesa. Nowadays, the original recipe from 1896 is still used. It has a hard and crunchy texture with an unmistakable cooked butter flavor. If you are not careful, it is faster than you “drinking” your coffee.
